This film is based on the behaviour of a friend of the actor and director who was messed up on drugs and who had become incoherent. Some of the dialogue is based on what the friend said and the conversation about the cat, except for the conclusion, was a real a story from my childhood. We made the film a few days after he had gone away to rehab to cool down and come back to sanity.
