- Minnie Indie #51 The Chicago Video Stitching Technique*WATCH THIS VIDEO IN HIGH QUALITY* Click HIGH QUALITY link under video window. I know I had specific plans for Minnie Indie #51 and 52 but now things have changed. Whatever. I recently shot video down in Chicago to try out a stitching technique with video. Many people are familiar with panoramas using still photos pieced together. I'm essentially doing the same thing with video. I pick a scene and shoot part of it for 6-10 seconds. Then, I move the camera to the edge of where I believe the first frame ended and repeat a few times. The result is something to the effect of moving puzzle pieces. I was inspired by a June 6th 2008 Rocketboom episode that did the same thing. Video commentary provided by Steve Barone and Michael Atkinson I composed the music bed using an acoustic guitar and reversing and slowing down a piece of classical music that was chopped into segments and butted up to each other. I used a wine glass with water in it too.
