First go and download HLDS Updater here http://storefront.steampowered.com/download/hldsupdatetool.exe Linux go here http://storefront.steampowered.com/download/hldsupdatetool.bin 2. Then Complete instalation up to folder, name folder C:\HLServer if (c:\ is already there don't add it) 3. Finish it up and go to my computer C:\HLServer\ then right click Send To Desktop (shortcut) Right click and type -command update -game garrysmod -dir c:\HLServer. leave one space before the folder written C:\HLServer\HldsUpdateTool.exe if its already there dont re write it. 4. Open it let it run for a while when its finished re run it again then open C:\HLServer\orangebox\ then open srcds file. "WTF" it won't work problem fixed all you have to do is add -game garrysmod after C:\HLServer\orangebox\srcds.exe remember one space before typing it. 5.Open it up and there you have ityou created your own dedicated server.
